“If you’re not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas you’ll end up in the Backrooms, where it’s nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you.”
"Sadie was just a young college girl who had a bright future ahead of her. Who knew that her life would for the worse... in a bizarre manner?
One night dressed in comfortable house wear, she was in the middle of texting her bestfriend while walking around barefoot at her college dorm, her eyes glued on the smart phone. One distraction and one misstep is all it took.
Most people would get into an accident, leaving them injured for life or killed. But Sadie's fate had a unique yet horrifying fate for her. Distracted, she just randomly approached a dark corner of the upper floor she was in and her whole world went literally spinning in front of her eyes and she fell into darkness.
It's been hours now (maybe days?) and Sadie has lost track of time as she wanders the dull yellow hallways. The date on her phone glitched out. Her sense of hearing nearly getting numb from the buzzing fluorescent lights. Her footsteps make a slight squelching sound as she walked through musty, moist carpet of the area. She thought she would die here all alone.
Something caught her eye, however. At the distance, she saw someone walking out of sight at the end of the hallway. She quickened her pace to catch up with the person. Although, she wanted to make sure, she did not want to bring the wrong attention to herself by calling out. Yet, she was almost desperate to do so.
Fortunately for Sadie, that worked on her favor. Her reflexes and survival instincts saved her from any possible, imminent doom. As she nearly stepped out into an open hallway, she had a quick glimpse of it. Lanky, emaciated, dark grey...faceless. At split-second she quickly hid and sat down, covering her mouth from screaming, dropping her phone on the floor at her right.
However, Sadie was sure that... that thing, that entity turned its head to catch a fleeting image of her before disappearing.
Did it see her? Will it catch her? Is it the end of Sadie?"
For those following the Backrooms creepypasta phenomenon, that black thing is Entity 6, otherwise known as a "Duller", at least my version of it. More info here: [http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/entity-6]
